Puranique
Cognac country craft, distilled since 1777.
From the chalk-rich hills of the Charente in South West France, Vinet-Puranik has been distilling since 1777 - nearly two and a half centuries of continuous craft in the heart of cognac country. The house built its reputation on Ugni Blanc grapes, slow copper stills, and patient aging in French oak, producing cognacs that earned their place on merit rather than marketing. The first bottle to carry the Puranique name was Jus D' Manguier, a liqueur built on handpicked Alphonso mango - a fruit-forward expression that set the tone for a portfolio unafraid to wander beyond the classic. From there the range grew: a VS and V.S.O.P. Cognac aged four years in oak, a 9x-distilled French wheat vodka named Best Vodka at the London Spirits Competition, and Pineau des Charentes in both Blanc and Rosé - grape must stopped with cognac and finished in barrel. Every Puranique expression is kosher certified, a standard the house has held without compromise. The accolades have followed: 94-point scores for the vodka and Pineau Rosé, 92 points for the Jus D' Manguier and Pineau Blanc, and a Silver at the New York Spirits and Wine Competition for Mangeaux, the house's cognac-and-Alphonso-mango liqueur. It is a portfolio built on a single conviction - that the right bottle earns its place long before it's poured.
